Accessible Countryside for Everyone – ACE
ACE has been set up to promote countryside places and walks that are accessible to wheelchair and mobility scooter users and families with pushchairs and buggies. Just because you can’t hop over stiles and trek over rough ground does not mean that you can’t get out and enjoy the countryside.

The ACE website has details of walks and sites by county, currently there are two regions covered the South West and the South East – basically from the Bristol Channel to the Thames Valley.

While research and development work goes on to cover the rest of England and Wales I thought I would put this blog up so you can make comments about the concept of ACE, the website and to give you all the opportunity to suggest sites and walks for inclusion.

I am not sure how or if this will work but I want it to belong to the community of ACE website users, so sign in add some comments, ideas, walks or just say hello.
